The end of the Fred and Martha story is that Fred eventually got his car fixed and was better able to focus on what Martha had said earlier. Especially, for some intuitive reason, her "Where are we going?" question.

At the time, Fred said, "We're going home", as he tried to downshift into second gear with his tempermental transmission. But now he realized the folly of his earlier instinctive reply.

What should Fred have said? I don't know. But that was definitely the $64,000, $640,000, or $6,400,000 question! LOL, Bill
