Kids Reel

I saw The Devil Wears Prada last week and wonder about its PG-13 rating. Not that the language was offensive or that there was too much violence or nudity. But while I found the PG-13 rating inviting to young people, I donít think the film is for that audience because much of the dialogue and subject matter can go over a younger personís head. It did mine. I did like the performances by Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci. But after that, it is hard to say anything meaningful except to warn my readers about PG-13s that may not be for them. Itís tricky. But this movie gets 2 1/2 tennis balls from a confused viewer who likes the acting.
