Steel Magnolias

The North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck is proud to present Steel Magnolias, a play by Robert Harling. Centered around a group of gossipy southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor, the play is alternately hilarious and touching-and, in the end, it draws on their underlying strength and love, which give the play, and its characters, the special quality to make them truly touching, funny and marvelously amiable company in good times and bad.

Three high-spirited World War I veterans confined to an old soldiers home seek to rise above their predicament and their limitations in the comedic and often touching Heroes, the second play in the Hampton Theatre Company’s 2013-2014 season in Quogue.

Teddy Bear

theRIVERHEADPROJECT continues with theMOVIEPROJECT into January on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings beginning at dusk.

A large projector screen situated inside the lounge by the fireplace will show different films each night according to a theme selected by a guest curator. A cinematic specialty cocktail will be featured each week in addition to complimentary popcorn. On Monday evenings guests are invited to meet each week’s curator.
