Qi Xu

The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Rising Stars Piano Series concludes with 19 year old Chinese pianist Qi Xu on Saturday at 7 PM at Southampton Cultural Center. $15 general admission; students under 21 no charge. Speaking of Furniture

Pritam & Eames in East Hampton will host a book signing of the just-published Speaking of Furniture: Conversations with 14 American Masters on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM. The book presents the candid stories of 14 exceptionally gifted people who chose furniture as a vehicle for artistic expression and, in turn, how their careers shaped a powerful movement in 20th-century decorative arts.

Mixed Nuts

Harbor Bells, an English Handbell Choir, will perform at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 5 PM and St. Therese of Lisieux RC Church in Montauk on Sunday at 2 PM.

The Nutcracker

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School presents The Nutcracker on Friday at 7 PM, Saturday at 1 PM and 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
