Our Local Dermatologist - The Anti-aging Solution For Anyone

When it comes to hearing cosmetic terms such as invasive or noninvasive treatments, medical spas, laser services, injectables and life-changing surgical procedures, there are two groups of consumers.

The first group is the people who do their homework and know what the latest technology is, where to find it, who is the “best” in performance. The second group would like to consider preserving their youth through science but don’t know where to begin or who to trust. They may be scared of being misled and won’t take that first step alone, hence the decision is to just age gracefully.

However, when it comes down to it, a consultation with a dermatologist is favored when finding anti-aging solutions.

The Hamptons is a competitive place when it comes to cosmetic procedures. I was fortunate enough to visit the newly renovated office of Dr. Kenneth Mark, MD in Southampton and had the pleasure of talking with him about his specialty treatments. He is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical assistant Professor of Dermatology at NYU, where he teaches dermatology surgery to residents.

Dr. Kenneth Mark is the go-to dermatologist when having concerns about signs of melanoma and skin cancer. He has the latest in biopsy technology that is able to quickly diagnose and start treating these cancerous issues immediately. Between the ambience of his office and his thoughtful team of professionals, Dr. Mark’s knowledge and confidence in explaining his theory on how he practices medical procedures was comforting and completely sold me. He treated my skin and supervised the minor therapies his RN performed, such as a salycilic peel. He has an excellent reputation for the traditional injectable services we hear about such as Botox and Restylane. It’s almost an art the way he works with science.

With offices in Southampton, East Hampton, SoHo and in Aspen, the doctor offers an exclusive technology called Ultherapy, a pre-requisite or alternate route to a facelift. For ages 35 and up, this is something to consider as a long lasting anti-aging treatment. It’s a beam of light that is projected onto the parts of the face. It goes through the epidermis, the dermis and down into the soft tissue area that is the part which would be cosmetically tightened in a facelift. Ultherapy will generate collagen in this area which promotes tightening of the skin. After reviewing the ongoing portfolio of “Before & After” success photos and an extensive practical demo from Cindy Welch, RN for the office, I am delighted to vouch for Ultherapy. Consider a consultation for this service in the offices of Dr. Kenneth Mark and see the world of youthful cosmetic procedures that are available. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.
