Making The Season Bright

The annual Light the Light holiday kick off at Montauk Point drew a crowd determined to brave the cold and wind and see thousands of sparkling white lights ablaze upon the national landmark. Montauk School Superintendent Jack Perna (above) did the honors of flipping the switch, while bundled up kids -- tiny tots with their eyes all aglow -- marveled at the show, which included an appearance by Santa way up on the Lighthouse balcony.
