Lifelong East Hampton resident Josephine DeAmario died on December 13.
Mrs. DeAmario was born on April 6, 1914 in East Hampton to SaVely Passamonte and Anna (nee Attima) Passamonte. She attended East Hampton schools and married Ferdinand, who died in 1988. She was a seamstress, and lived on Talmage Lane in East Hampton for over 60 years.
Mrs. DeAmario is survived by her children, Gary and Bruce of East Hampton and John of Lindenhurst; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and 13 nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her four brothers and sister, Charles, Joseph, John and Frances Neukum.
Interment was held at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. Donations can be made to Most Holy Trinity Church, Meals on Wheels and the East Hampton Community Council.
