Catherine Krupski

Died: Tuesday, September 26, 2006
Age: 84
Catherine Krupski of Mattituck died at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn on September 26.

Mrs. Krupski was born at home in Riverhead on July 4, 1922 to Mary (née Leszinski) and Frank Pierczhanowski. A lifelong North Fork resident, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church in Cutchogue. Mrs. Krupski enjoyed canning, baking, shopping and TV game shows. She will be remembered as quite a lady who loved life and knew the true meaning and importance of family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Krupski on April 22, 2003. She is survived by her children, Diane Kruk of Cutchogue, Maria Krupski of Aquebogue, Frank Krupski of Laurel, Eugene Krupski of Cutchogue, Patricia Krupski of Mattituck and Joe Krupski of Florida; three sisters, Alice Galka of Riverhead, Virginia Sledjeski and Stacia Lancaric, both of Calverton; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The Liturgy of the Christian Burial was celebrated on September 30 at Our Lady of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church in Cutchogue by Monsignor James McNamara, Father Walter Rudnicki and Father Janusz Lipski. Interment was in the family plot at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Krupski’s name to C.O.T.A. for Joseph A. Krupski, P.O. Box 8233, Essex, Vermont, 05451 or the Ronald McDonald House for the benefit of her great-grandson, Joseph Anthony Krupski.
