I wanted to thank Lisa Finn for writing October 11th's article on "road rage."
As I was reading her article, a lyric from a 1971 Doors song came to my mind. The song was "Riders On The Storm." The lyric was, "There's a killer on the road." After reading her article, I would like to take this lyric one step further by saying, "There's a killer on the road . . . and he could be you"!
From my own experience, the only times that I've experienced road rage is when I'm in a hurry. "Haste makes waste" and it can also increase our level of stress behind the wheel, which I believe is the major cause of road rage.
I'd also like to thank you for responding so quickly to my story about road rage.
P.S. I've created a bumper sticker which I hope will decrease peoples' level of stress behind the wheel. It simply says, "Have a Nice Day." I was inspired by Bon Jovi's latest CD, which bears the same name. To receive a bumper sticker call 725-3118.
