Sex Industry?

To The Editor,

In a recent NY Post article, Phil Mushnick in his column, "Equal Time" excoriates the media for not being more balanced in the Duke Lacrosse incident. He compares the support for Kobe Bryant in his rape case. Bryant's accuser's background was vigorously investigated. In contrast, the murky details of the accuser's personal life in the Duke case have received little or no reportage.

The defense lawyers will absolutely shred this unfortunate person's credibility. This sex industry worker will be found to have no reliability and will be totally discredited.

Why then is this "case" going forward? There is a second deplorable character in this dramatic Greek tragedy, Durham County District Attorney, Michael Nifong. He is a warped man and his sexual dysfunction will be revealed in the courtroom hallways to snicker him out of office. Obviously, his background is Alsace/Loraine, an ever torn between France and Germany that has produced many more than its share of aberrant behavioral misfits.

The long serving lawyer gal he lived with from the Durham D.A.'s office when he first took over will be heard from and others to discredit.

Nifong himself, he loathes other males that he perceives as being privileged as to social and financial standing. Simply, he has a perverted obsession to persecute his imagined "betters." His rage will surface more and more as events unfold.

Long Island and the East End is rightfully proud of its Lacrosse teams and the young men and women who enjoy playing this excellent sport.
