Is it really spring or is Mother Nature just giving us a fling?
Winter's cold sting has gone for a while,
It's good to see the buds upon the trees,
Soon to burst forth with all their beauty.
The forsythia bushes are a golden blaze of color.
There is a hint of a softer breeze in the air.
Crocuses are dotted here and there.
Soon to follow hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils,
Their trumpets heralding the beautiful
Majesty of springtime.
