Christmas Eve
December 19, 2012 | 07:04 PM

hi Jerry,

I walked down memory lane with you. Being Italian I can totally relate to that wonderful Eve with such good food and tons of cousins and aunts and uncles parents and grandparents. They were all alive then and those were such innocent and fun times. We ate all those great fish dishes, little honey balls, (you couldn't eat just one) they were so addictive. Being Barese my grandmother made Cartadata (fried dough so crispy and then saturated with a wine and honey, raisins broth) Those times were magical and I miss those days. Tradition is the glue that holds the family & creates those wonderful memories. Buona Natale, Louise
