love your 'anti-robot' screen! notwithstanding the 'tactics' used by the WHBPD, and every other 'village/town' department(which should be absorbed by the sherrifs/county/state pd--your choice); the main reason for the '$130000+' salaries is binding arbitration-what Nassau,etc, gets, 'they get;' eliminate that process, and start with merit pay, as the teachers, and every other 'civil service' job should be 'controlled' by. add in the fact that 'existing' employees pay NOTHING for health insurance, which continues in retirement; well, you can do the math, right?
