Classic Boat Society
The East End Classic Boat Society will hold a Holiday Open House Saturday from 4 to 6 PM at the Community Boat Shop in Amagansett, with a raffle drawing at 5:30 PM for the boat built this year, a Sunshine Tender. The Community Boat Shop is managed by The East End Classic Boat Society, a not-for-profit educational organization, which is dedicated to sustaining the skills and traditions of small wood boat building and restoration on the East End. The Human Resources of the Hamptons Clothing Room is open weekly Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 2 PM. The clothing room is the only local distribution facility providing free, quality used clothing and other materials to families in need. Located at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton.
Citizens 4 Humanity
This holiday season Insatiable EATS Catering in Southampton plans to feed single mother families who have crises and/or poverty through the non-profit organization Citizens 4 Humanity. For the past three years Insatiable EATS and Citizens 4 Humanity has been feeding single mom families on the East End. Insatiable EATS helps to provide nice platters and trays of food that are healthy and delicious, offering families a holiday experience that they would not have otherwise.
