HT2FF Call for Entries
Submissions are being accepted for the 4th annual Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, an event that showcases the best of the genre from talented filmmakers. The event takes place in November. To enter your documentary film visit www.ht2ff.com. Early deadline is May 1, regular deadline is July 1 and late deadline is August 31.
Westhampton Beach Farmers Market
On May 7 at 9 AM the Westhampton Beach Farmers Market will have an Opening Day Vine Cutting ceremony at the market at 85 Mill Road. Mayor Conrad Teller will cut the vine (rather than a ribbon) to mark the start of the 2011 season. He will be joined by James Hatter, Manager of Astoria Bank, market sponsor. Music will be provided by Grant Werner of the popular group, "The Boomers." The Westhampton Beach Farmers Market has 41 Long Island vendors who grow or create locally, including cheese, eggs, fish, chickens, vegetables, honey, wine, shellfish, breads, gourmet items, soups, spice rubs, sauces, herbs, and cookies. The 2011 season runs from May 7 to November 19 next to the Westhampton Historical Society.
