Peace Festival

Guild Hall in East Hampton presents "Peace Festival: Dreaming of Peace" in Honor of Martin Luther King this Saturday. The day starts with a gilding workshop at 1 PM led by artist Ellen Frank. Next up is a screening of short film The Making of Cities of Peace by Acadamy Award winning filmographer Don Lenzer at 2 PM. Following the film will be a poetry reading by Danny Simmons, creator of Def Poetry Jam, Chairman of NYSCA, and co-founder along with brother Russell Simmons of Rush Arts. The day continues with a musical performance by Anna Barie and Pat Noecker at 3 PM and a Special Cities of Peace Gallery Talk at 4 PM. For more information call 631-324-0806.

All Good Things

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will screen All Good Things as part of the "Finest in World Cinema" series. The film, directed by Andrew Jarecki, starring Ryan Gossling and Kristen Dunst, was inspired by the most notorious missing person's case in New York history. Wings over Haiti

A "Hamptons for Haiti" benefit for The Wings Over Haiti foundation will take place at East Hampton Studio in Wainscott from 7:30 PM to 2 AM on Saturday night. The event will be hosted by Omarosa of "The Apprentice" fame, and will feature musical guests Melky Jean (sister of Wyclef Jean), RAM, Francois Alexander, Bastards of Boom, Alex Young, and DJ Big Drop.
