Laugh and Relax!
The South Fork Breast Health Coalition and Ellen's Well will host a free yoga and relaxation program next Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Southampton Hospital. A second session, which will be instruction on guided imagery and visualization, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Reservations are not required; participants please meet at the hospital's Parrish Memorial Hall on the corner of Herrick Road and Lewis Street. Congrats, WordHampton! The local PR company recently won two awards from the MarCom Creative Awards competition, a contest that judges media relations campaigns. WordHampton won a Platinum award for its work on "Goodbye Greenspan," an art exhibit in Sag Harbor, and an honorable mention for the company's promotions during Hampton Restaurant Week.

Bone Density Test in EH

The new technology, dubbed Hologic DEXA Densitometer, will help physicians diagnose osteoporosis and assess body composition. Prompt detection of bone loss can help doctors treat the disease. The Bay Gift Shop, which sells items for Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, has announced the Volunteer of the Month — Josephine Conklin. A mother of two and a grandmother of four, Conklin has been a hospital volunteer for 23 years. Congrats, Conklin!
