The Art of Eating Thanksgiving

More than 40 Thanksgiving items will be offered to go by Art of Eating in Amagansett. The turkeys are free-range and reared in small flocks in Water Mill. Pies are made with fresh local fruits, and all foods are prepared in small batches. Orders will be taken through Saturday, with pick-up up until 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. A Publick Thanksgiving

The Southampton Publick House is offering a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner on November 23 from 1 to 7 p.m. Appetizers include crab cake, baked clams, while the entrees available are a traditional turkey dinner, honey maple glazed pork loin, baked striped bass, and ravioli in a nutmeg cream. CoCo Prix Fixe

CoCo Restaurant in the Maidstone Arms is offering a $22 prix fixe menu all night, every night. On the menu is Caribbean creamy shrimp curry, risotto with grilled sea scallop, grilled hanger steak and tarragon roasted 1/2 chicken. The Southampton Inn will host a family-style Thanksgiving dinner on November 23 from noon to 3 p.m. The cost is $30 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and includes a lavish turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Dress code is casual. Southampton Inn, 91 Hill St., South-ampton, 283-6500.

Thanksgiving Hours at N&T

Nick & Toni's, 136 N. Main St., East Hampton, will be open for dinner beginning at 6 p.m. next Wednesday and from November 24 through 26; it will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 23. To make a reservation or for more information, call 324-3550.

Polar Bear Plunge

A hot cup of cocoa might be in order after the Polar Bear Plunge at Cooper's Beach in Southampton on December 16, a fundraising effort for Human Resources of the Hamptons. Donations are being accepted and 50/50 raffles are being sold as part of the benefit; call CB's Bar & Grill in Hampton Bays at 728-7574 for more information.

Hike!

Monday night is football night at Gurney's Inn in Montauk. Coors Light buckets are $6 and at halftime a free buffet will be offered. The games will be on view on dual 42" plasma TVs and giveaways will be offered all night. Call 668-2345 for more information.
