Wednesday is Ladies' Night at the Southampton Publick House from 9 to 11 p.m. Break out the dancing shoes for D.J. Lucienne every Saturday night, from 10 p.m. on.

Miles to Dayton

Eastenders Coffee House once again presents Bob Barta & Friends from 8 to 11 p.m. Tomorrow Spicy Tuna is the featured performer, playing from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. with an open mic to follow till 11. Admission: $5. On Saturday, Miles to Dayton will delight the ears from 8 to 11 p.m. Bruce "MacDaddy" MacDonald will return on Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m.

Montauk Madness

Thursday is karaoke night with Jim & Nanci and Kenny, the singing bartender, at Gurney's Inn in Montauk. No cover; drink specials. Then dance with DJ Des and Linda on Friday and Saturday nights. No cover/21 & over.

American Paintings

Spanierman Gallery in East Hampton is featuring "American Paintings, 1850-1965," through January 13, 2007. Also on view is "Long Island Abstraction: 1950s to the Present" through December 4.

Lichtenstein Revealed

The Parrish Art Museum is exhibiting "Roy Lichtenstein: American Indian Encounters" through December 31.

Half Nelson Screening

Half Nelson will be screened at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m. The film explores the precarious relationship between a white man struggling with his own demons and a young black girl on the verge of losing her innocence. Tickets: $10 adults / $7 students & seniors / $3 members.

Talkhouse Tunes

The Infidels will rile up the crowd at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett at 10:30 p.m. Tickets: $10. On Saturday, a benefit for Katherine Penati will begin at 8 p.m. There is a $25 suggested donation. Later on, Little Head Thinks will play at 10:30 p.m. $10.

Hastay & Weiss

Pianist Jane Hastay and bassist Peter Martin Weiss appear every Friday, from 7 to 11 p.m., at CoCo Restaurant in the Maidstone Arms in East Hampton. The couple performs jazz standards by Gershwin, Ellington, Porter and more.

Hayes Quartet

The Parrish Art Museum in Southampton presents a lively jazz performance by Hayes Greenfield and his quartet at 7 p.m. Greenfield is a noted musician, producer, composer, saxophonist, filmmaker, bandleader and educator & has been active on the NYC jazz scene since the late '70s. Tickets: $10 members / $15 non-members.

Our Town Performance

A Staged Reading of Our Town by Thornton Wilder will be performed in the Boots Lamb Education Center at Guild Hall at 8 p.m. Josh Gladstone directing. Free with suggested donation of non-perishable food item for local Holiday Food Drive.

Book Signings

Photographer Jake Rajs will sign copies of his new book Between Sea and Sky: Landscapes of Long Island's North Fork, at East End Books in East Hampton, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Later, author T.J. Parsell will talk about and sign copies of his new book, Fish: A Memoir of a Boy in a Man's Prison, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Autumn Exhibit

Sip wine and observe nature photography at Castello di Borghese Winery in Cutchogue. The exhibit "Autumn Exhibition" is courtesy the Nature and Wildlife Photographers of Long Island. On view through December 9.

Holiday Show

The Chrysalis Gallery in Southampton will be opening its new exhibit, "The 7th Annual Holiday Show," today, featuring work by Yvonne Dagger, Christine Gordon, Ivana Vidovic, Joyce Bennett Klein. On view through December 16.

Sunday

November 19

Fritz Leddy Exhibition

Guild Hall in East Hampton will feature 100 photographs by Francis D. (Fritz) Leddy, who was Chief of the East Hampton Police Department from 1937 to 1968. Leddy took more than 2000 pictures of the village, including family portraits, landscapes and local people, as well as photos for the police department during his tenure. Local photographer Doug Kuntz who printed all of the works in the exhibit "Our Town: Fritz Leddy photographs," will talk about the artist at 2:30 p.m.

Also on view is "Our Town Today: Contemporary Visions of East Hampton," featuring black and white and color prints by East End photographers, beginning with an opening from 4 to 6 p.m. Both exhibits will be on view through January 7, 2007.

Closing Exhibit

Today is the last day of Day Bowman's exhibit at the Karin Sanders Fine Art gallery in Sag Harbor.
