CoCo Prix Fixe
CoCo Restaurant in the Maidstone Arms is offering a $22 prix fixe menu all night, every night. On the menu is Caribbean creamy shrimp curry, risotto with grilled sea scallop, grilled hanger steak and tarragon roasted 1/2 chicken. Monday Night Football
Football fans can head over to Gurney's Inn in Montauk on Monday nights to watch the game on 42" TVs, enjoy $6 Coors Light buckets, and partake in a free halftime buffet. There will be giveaways all night and a late night menu; call 668-2345.
Laundry, Circa 1980
The prix fixe menu at Laundry, available Sunday through Thursday evenings, rings in at $19.80, in celebration of the restaurant's founding year. The lighter fare on the $19.80 menu is complemented by the $29 prix fixe menu, also available Sunday through Thursday. Cooking Class at Southampton Inn
Celebrate Election Day with a cooking class with Chef Joe Hsu at The Southampton Inn. The class, held next Tuesday at 7 p.m., will focus on the preparation of holiday dishes from around the world. The class is $25 per person; space is limited and reservations are recommended. 91 Hill St., 283-6500.
Thanksgiving at Tierra Mar
Tierra Mar in Westhampton Beach will host a special Thanksgiving buffet dinner on November 23 from 1 to 6 p.m. On the table will be organic mesclun greens with toasted pumpkin seed vinaigrette, oven roasted turkey, honey glazed smoked ham, sweet potato puree, baby turnips, North Fork pumpkin pie and more. New Director of Ops at East Wind
Diane Figari has been named the Director of Operations at East Wind in Wading River. Figari graduated from Johnson & Wales University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management. "My mission is to put East Wind on the map as a modern landmark and the premier destination property. It is truly at the gateway to the East End's idyllic North Fork," Figari said.
