Baymen Fall to Mt. Sinai


Hampton Bays slipped to 2-3 in the Suffolk Division IV standings after suffering a 43-13 loss to the Mt. Sinai Mustangs on Saturday night at Hampton Bays High School.

The Mustangs (5-0 in Division IV) built a 28-0 lead early in the third quarter. It was never threatened. Baymen quarterback Andrew Raimo threw two touchdown passes, one to Nick Lynch (8 yards) in the third quarter and the other to T.J. Besch (31 yards) in the fourth.

Hampton Bays (89 total points scored this season) will look to improve its record to .500 with a win at Port Jefferson (3-2) on Saturday. The Royals have allowed the fourth lowest amount of points in the division this season (91).
