Arts Center to Expand

Arts Center to Expand

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is in the process of purchasing land adjacent to its theatre as part of an effort to expand the Children's Art Education Program. WHBPAC is in contract with the heirs of Ria DelBene, a supporter of the Performing Arts Center who died last spring, to purchase the property immediately to the Center's north on Sunset Ave. The closing is scheduled for late October. "Purchasing this property provides the Center with a great opportunity to expand upon the success of the Children's Program. It is a pivotal first step toward realizing the potential of the program, expanding our facilities and serving a greater number of area children and their families," said Len Conway, WHBPAC Board President.
