A gala to benefit the Community Action of Southold Town (CAST) will take place at Vineyard 49 in Cutchogue Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 advance purchase or $30 at the door. There will be samplings from local restaurants and a cash wine bar. Call 734-1717 to find out more.

The Hampton Theatre Company will hold its benefit cocktail party Sunday at the Southampton estate of a patron. Entitled "Long Live Live Theater," the event will feature performances by members of the company and drinks and munchies. Tickets are $50; call 653-8955.
Hang with Jameson and Veronica (from The Indy's Hamptons Daze) and help a good cause September 4 at the Star Room in East Hampton. The party will get started at 10 p.m. and rage 'til 2 a.m.; tickets are $25 at the door and lots of cash will go to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Black and White Benefit
Cynthia and Neal Hochman have been named honorary chairs of the "Benefit in Black and White," a special fundraiser September 16 to benefit the Peconic Bay Medical Center. The Hochmans are active members of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. The benefit will be held under a tent on the Hochman's waterfront estate in Westhampton Beach. The evening will include a gourmet buffet, music, dancing, raffle prizes and a silent auction. Tickets are $225 each. For more information, call 548-6080.
