Idea House + Retreat
The Hamptons Cottages and Gardens 2006 Idea House will host a party to benefit The Retreat's domestic violence services on Friday. Tickets are $150 and may be reserved by calling 212-286-5700. Food and drinks will be served.
All that Racquet
On Saturday, head to the Racquet Club of East Hampton for a tennis tournament to benefit the March of Dimes. The event is open to the public and all tennis enthusiasts are invited to sign up. Brunch and a wine tasting will accompany the tournament. Call 496-8198 to get involved.
Fit for a Princess

Harbor Lights Gala

Parish Lawn Fair
St. Luke's Episcopal Church in East Hampton will hold its annual lawn fair on the grounds of the church Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Lots of stuff like fresh baked goods, flowers and plants, books and handmade gift items will be on sale. Sand in Your Toes
The 15th annual East Hampton Sand Castle contest will take place Sunday at Atlantic Beach in Amagansett from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and a registration fee of $10 is required to participate. Good for Goodall
Join chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall and singer Sarah McLachlan at a benefit for the Jane Goodall Institute in East Hampton August 12. The event will be held at a private home and even Candice Bergen will be there! Tickets are pricey at $2500, but hey, it's all for a good cause. Call 212-935-1558.
The Birthday Girl
A birthday celebration for Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons' daughter Ming Lee will happen August 19. The 2006 Hoops 4 Hope benefit, which happened in Sagaponack last weekend, raised much-needed cash for the organization that supports youth development in southern Africa by providing more than 10,000 school-age children with basketballs and life skills.
