New Menu Items at Almond
Almond has added some new menu items for the summer season, including chilled asparagus vinaigrette with parmesan crisps for $10, marinated octopus picholine olive vinaigrette with grilled bread ($10), and eggplant caviar with croutons($10). Try warm day boat scallops with balsamic glazed strawberries ($12), barbecue pork shank with sweet corn risotto and crispy onions ($24), or Montauk flounder, ($22). Cuervo Night at Publick House
Southampton Publick House will host the Cuervo Girls today for Cuervo Night. There will be drink specials, giveaways, and, as always, Wednesday is ladies night with DJ Paulie. Southampton Public House 40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 283-6500.

JL East has added some new items to its menu for the summer season. Pheasant Consommé aux profiteroles are $9, the organic vegetable and soba noodle maki roll is $11 as an appetizer and $26 as an entrée. Macadamia and pine nut-crusted local black fish is available for $26 and orange spiced lobster is $36. The exotic game mixed grill with port wine sauce is new ($29), as are black angus sirloin quarto au poivre flambé Armagnac ($36), and a roast rack of lamb with spring vegetables ($36).
