The Retreat will hold its annual Artists Against Abuse Gala June 17 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. The Retreat is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about and help those affected by domestic violence through intervention and prevention programs on the East End of Long Island.
During the cocktail period, guests can participate in a silent auction and bid on specially commissioned, hand-painted ceramic plates decorated by established East End artists such as Barbara Macklowe, Don Duga, Marilyn Church, and many more. Additionally, there will be a gift auction with items such as theater tickets, dinners, and spa treatments.
The dinner and live auction will begin at 8 p.m. A raffle, which will include prizes such as a Vespa LX-50, will also be available to partygoers. Tickets for the raffle are currently on sale. General admission tix are $350, Guardian tickets are $500, Benefactor tickets are $1000 and Patron tickets are $2000. A table for 10 can be purchased for $5000.
