In Riverhead . . . Stolen Stuff
Riverhead Police are on the lookout person(s) who stole the identity of a Hallet Street resident and charged $200 in goods on the victim's credit card. Police are also searching for the thief who took a Youngs Avenue Trailer Park resident's wallet, which contained the residents Social Security card and other items. Another wallet was reported stolen from a customer who was shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue last week. Police are looking into the stolen wallet reports, as well as reports of a stolen 1994 white Mercedes 300 TE Wagon from Mercy HS, and a gas grill from a Forge Road residence.
Police arrested a man last week for walking on Peconic Avenue with an open beer. The man was drunk.
In Southold . . . DWI Arrests
Four individuals were arrested for DWI in Southold last week. Meanwhile, two Cutchogue residents were involved in an MVA outside King Kullen on Thursday; no one was hurt
A Cutchogue resident was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation revealed that she had stolen $3000 from a local bank, where she was employed as a teller. The suspect was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
