Head Bangers Ball

Just Purple will be performing a faithful recreation of the British hard rock band Deep Purple, with special guests Ozzmosis doing covers of Black Sabbath & Ozzy's greatest hits at The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead on Saturday, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. Call 727-0900.

Beachside Grooves

Danny Keane will play rhythm and blues out on the patio at Nick's on the Beach in Montauk on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. DJ Dodge will spin tunes at 10:30 p.m. On Sunday, Bobby Nathan will rock n' roll outside from 3 to 7 p.m. DJ Paulie will spin at 10:30 p.m. Call 668-4800.

A Music Amalgam

Tugboat's North Sea House is chock full of music starting with the smooth tunes of the Anne Morgan Band tonight at 9:30 p.m. Tomorrow Mick Hargreaves will offer up his acoustic repertoire at 8 p.m. The Aqua Girls and Lobster Boy will play standards on Friday at 8 p.m. And the Willie Steal Band will deliver the blues and more on Saturday at 10 p.m. Call 259-2067.

Acoustic Unplugged

Brian and Ed will play unplugged music from the 60s to the 90s, with a some Irish tunes mixed in at Buckley's Inn Between in Hampton Bays on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Buckley's has live music every Saturday night. Mike Flip draws braves souls to the mic with karaoke every Wednesday, followed by ladies' night on Thursdays from 8 to 10 p.m. Call 728-7197.

Jelly Jams

Bob Barta and friends will host yet another great Thursday night jam session at East Enders Coffee House in Riverhead, tomorrow from 8 to 11 p.m. On Friday featured performer We'red Jellyfish will play from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by an open mic for musicians and poets until 11 p.m. We'red Jellyfish is back again on Saturday, from 8 to 11 p.m.

Talkhouse Tunes

Iguana will play at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tonight at 8 p.m. ($25). Jamie McLean (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band) will take the stage tomorrow at 9 p.m. ($10). On Friday, Jake Lear will warm up the crowd at 8 p.m. ($10), followed by The Infidels at 9 and The Nancy Atlas Project at 11 ($15). Lez Zepplin will ramble on Saturday at 8 p.m. ($50), followed by Dollarman at 10 ($10). On Sunday, Mystic Bowie will play at 10 p.m. ($10).
