Artist Giancarlo Impiglia, based in Bridgehampton and New York, is painting a Vespa to be raffled off at a benefit for The Retreat on June 17 at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. The Retreat, based in East Hampton, provides shelter, counseling, and a hotline for victims of family violence. The Springs Improvement Society will hold its annual Memorial Day art show and party at Ashawagh Hall on Friday. The proceeds from ticket and art sales will go to the maintenance of the Hall. Call 329-9060 to get involved.

Fresh Air Home Festivities
On June 3, join decorators, designers, and dealers during a cocktail benefit to benefit the Southampton Fresh Air Home. The event will be held at the SFAH on Barkers Island Road from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

East End Hospice will hold its annual North Fork Pig Roast Picnic Benefit on June 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for kids 10 and under.
