Hampton Bays 3, Bayport-Blue Point 2

Game Highlights:

The Baymen (9-8 in League VII) defeated the Phantoms in the second game of a three-game series with Anthony Andrews delivering a sacrifice fly with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning that scored John Ledermann, who had doubled to lead off the inning. Tuesday, May 9

East Hampton 13, Comsewogue 1

Game Highlights:

Caity O'Brien went 3-for-3 with two RBI to lead East Hampton and Marta Johann hit a home run. SEE STORY.

Hampton Bays 17, Southampton 7

Game Highlights:

Jenna Kovar went 3-for-4 at the plate with a grand slam home run, five RBI and three runs scored while teammates Serina Booth (3-for-4, two RBI) and Marissa Raimo (2-for-4 with three RBI) both had big offensive games. Winning pitcher Marian Leeman allowed two earned runs and struck out nine Hampton Bays hitters.

Wednesday, May 10

Westhampton 10, Harborfields 0

Game Highlights:

Alyssa Clancy allowed only four hits, struck out five and walked two to record her second straight shutout as Westhampton kept its playoff hopes alive and improved to 8-7 in League VI. SEE STORY.

East Hampton 15, Kings Park 4

Game Highlights:

Willa Johann went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI and Marta Johann went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs as East Hampton improved to 14-2 in League V. Marta now has hit a home run in three straight games, becoming the first player in Suffolk County this season to accomplish that feat. SEE STORY.

Scoring Summary:

Goals — ESM: Hayes 3, Orban 3, Guido 3, MaCumber; W: Lenihan 4, Craz 4, Marsicano 4, Broccoli 2, Litteri 2, Grunsich 2, Sabo, Pepe, Johanson. Saves — ESM: Parez 7, Oster 2; W: Berglin 3, Schermeyer 4.

Game Highlights:

Westhampton kept Eastport winless this season as senior Chris Litteri scored a pair of goals in the Hurricanes 7-4 second quarter and Joe Lenihan and Perry Craz each scored four times. Westhampton improved to 5-6 in Division II but did not qualify for the playoffs this season.

Game Highlights:

Kim Hayes scored three goals and added three assists while Bree Conti, Brynn Litteri, Lucy Carroll and Kate Pepe each scored twice as Westhampton improved to 6-4 in Division II.

Game Highlights:

Kristen Rattler scored the game-winner for the Lady Mariners (2-10 in League II) midway through the second half. Southampton won for the first time since April 28.

Southampton defeated William Floyd 6-1

Match Highlights:

John Ludlow defeated Matt St. James 6-4, 6-3 at first singles as Southampton (9-1) won the Suffolk League VIII title. SEE STORY.
