Tenth Anniversary Ale
The Southampton Brand of the Southampton Publick House has just released a special edition of the 10th Anniversary Old Ale in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the brewery. In an homage to their eclectic approach to brewing, the Old Ale will combine ingredients and brewing techniques from Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the U.K., and the U.S.
The Old Ale will be a rich, full-bodied, malty ale with notes of dark rum, toffee, fruit, and herbs in the flavor. It will retail for $12 per 750ml bottle.
Beer will also be on the menu at The Publick House this week, when it hosts its annual beer dinner tomorrow beginning at 7 p.m. The cost is $60. The Publick House, 40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 283-2800.
Golf Foursome At Rowdy
Rowdy Hall is offering a Golfer's Special, the Foursome Afternoon delight. After a round of golf, foursomes are invited to the restaurant to share an order of the famous mussels and a bottle of Pinot Grigio, all for $25. Lunch And Brunch At Michaels
Michaels at Maidstone Beach is now offering lunch and brunch services from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dishes on the menu include cobb salad with avocado, croque madame, frittata with tomatoes, olives, goat cheese, and spinach, hamburgers, and a turkey club wrap. Meet & Mingle At Southampton Inn
With executive chef Joe Hsu at the helm, The Southampton Inn offers lunch service which is now open to the public from noon to 2 p.m. in their cafe and until 3 p.m. poolside. Sandwiches include grilled chicken panini, smoked turkey, tuna salad, and grilled vegetable clubs.
