Shakespeare Auditions Tonight!
RW Stage Art will be holding its first set of auditions for William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew from 6 to 10 p.m. The auditions will take place in Southold on South Harbor Road, which is right off the Main Road on the North Fork. Look for the signs and balloons. All roles are open except for Kate and Petruchio. The show will be put on the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead in August. Poet Laureate On Channel 13
Suffolk County Poet Laureate Daniel Moran, of Shelter Island, will be featured in "Setting the Stage," premiering during Thirteen's New York Art Festival at 8 p.m., with encore presentations on Saturday at 3 a.m. and 2 p.m. Also featured on the show will be Long Island-based sculptor Robert Berks.

Black Cat At Belle's Cafe

Poetry In Motion
David Zucker's "Poetry In Motion," an exhilirating tour de force that combines acting, mime, audience participation, and an old steamer trunk brimming with props, costumes, masks, and puppets to bring poetry to life, will happen at 2 p.m. at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton.
