Southampton 6, Pierson/Bridgehampton 4
Southampton's Brandon Arnister had a strong game at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and Rich Ruffner's two out single to leftfield scored Kevin Mockler with the winning run as the Mariners scored four times in the sixth inning. Ruffner went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

East Hampton 11, Westhampton 6
In the second game of a doubleheader, East Hampton's junior catcher Michael Rodriguez clubbed a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning as the Bonackers (1-1) took a 5-0 lead. Gardner Leaver pitched five innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs to record the win and helped his cause by hitting a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Junior Pierce Kelly added his first home run of the season and eighth- grader Billy Collins delivered his first varsity hit and his first varsity RBI. William Lee added three hits in four at-bats.
Corey Samot did a great job in a relief appearance, entering the game with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning and escaping it unscathed as his ground-ball inducing pitches resulted in a double-play and a harmless ground out. Westhampton had won the first game 5-4.

Jesse Stavola pitched a five-inning non-league no-hitter, struck out 13 and walked only one and Mylinn Nguyen paced the offense with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate with four runs scored.
