Fine Arts Exhibit
Art work created by students on Suffolk County Community College's Eastern Campus in Riverhead will be presented through Monday at the Eastern Campus Student Fine Arts Exhibit in the college's Lyceum Gallery.
The spring Eastern Campus Student Fine Arts Exhibit is a lively salon-style show highlighting exceptional art work featuring student works created in fine art disciplines including life drawing, drawing, 2D design, and art appreciation. There will be over 70 works on view in a variety of media and sizes.

Southold Historical Society presents "New York! New York! It's a Wonderful Town!" an exhibition of photographic images for New York City (1912-1964). This visually robust invitational art show and sale images include still-life, flowers, landscape, sea, sky, iconic portrait, interiors and more. East End Realists observe and interpret their vision masterfully in light and paint.
Artists include Lucille Berrill Paulsen, David Paulsen, Pam Thomson, Peter Beston, Roxanne Panero, Jane Kirkwood, Aubrey Grainger, Keith Mantell and Ann Lombardo, who acted as curator for this exhibit.

The Lure Of The Land
The Suffolk County Historical Society in Riverhead presents Fullerton's Long Island, "The Lure of the Land" exhibit. The show is a never-before-seen exhibition of over 70 large-sized historic photographs of Long Island from the legendary Hal B. Fullerton Collection in the Grand Staas Gallery. Curated by Neil Scholl and Peter Dicke. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will run through December 23.
Sag Harbor portrait photographer, Bryan Downey, will have a solo exhibit of 37 locals prints on display at Sag Town Coffee. Local characters include artists, writers, musicians, a sports legend, a WWII hero, pre-schoolers, Shinnecock Native Americans and more.
The show is fittingly called "LOCALS" and will run through Memorial Day.
Downey has been working exclusively with the people of the Shinnecock and will be donating 100 percent of profit sales back to the tribe's Youth Program.
East Hampton artist Jerry Schwabe will be exhibiting oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings at the Quogue Library Art Gallery during the month of April. The show "Views of the East End – Real and Imagined" will run through Sunday.
Schwabe's award-winning art has appeared in many group and solo shows on Long Island and in New York City and can be found in many private collections. Art Gallery committee member Doreen Ceglia is chair of this show.
The Watermill Center presents Basco Vazko's "POST," a special, first time solo East Coast exhibition by Chilean visual artist Basco Vazko, one of the three recipients of the 2016 Inga Maren Otto Fellowship. The show runs through June 17.
East End Arts presents an art exhibit at the Riverhead Town Hall Gallery, "Journey of a Plein Air Artist," featuring the works of watercolorist Jean Caiola. The exhibition will run through May 13.
