Week of September 3 -9

Read your rising sign if you know it; or any other sign, as each of us has Aries, Taurus etc. someplace in our charts governing some aspect of our lives.

ARIES (March 21-April 20) – The first quarter moon was yesterday so you ought to be well on your way in your new job, health regime or care giving role; hopefully it has a holistic approach (integration of body, mind and spirit). The Full Moon is Monday night when affairs of the month come to a head. You will know then if what you started last week at the New Moon is going to last.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) – You are in between the New Moon (Aug 25), new beginnings and the Full Moon Monday night, when the beginnings culminate. The Moon is waxing -- getting bigger, swelling -- and so will you. Your ruler Venus moves into Virgo Friday at noon, where details become important. It would be a good time to take up a craft and teach it to your child.

GEMINI (May 20-June 21) – Your ruler Mercury just entered Libra, which has you thinking about relationships, especially with your children or boyfriends. You are between the New Moon from the 25th and the Full Moon Monday night, so matters are swelling, just like the Moon. Full Moons bring underlying issues out to be exposed and dealt with. Your home life or how you feel about yourself and your career sector or reputation will be vying for dominance. If you feel slighted, misunderstood, or wounded, then just know that the situation is not healthy enough for you on all levels and you must take a broader viewpoint.

CANCER (June 21-July 20) – Watch your determination and feelings combine on Thursday noontime to really help you get focused on what you want to accomplish. You will still be serious this weekend until the Moon moves into Pisces Sunday evening, getting ready to come to Full opposite the Sun in Virgo on Monday evening. Full Moons make us aware of something we had not seen before. This time it might be rather painful. Change your perspective to see what the right thing to do for everyone involved is.

LEO (July 20-Aug. 21) - As the week begins, your ruler the Sun meets Jupiter the optimist and powerhouse Pluto. You feel mightily empowered, ready to accomplish anything. The Full Harvest Moon Monday night has you at loggerheads, wanting to express your innovative and creative side but also having unfounded financial or self esteem anxieties. Keep being the optimist, we need your sunny side.

VIRGO (Aug. 21-Sept. 21) – This week bridges the New and Full Moons. The New Moon in Virgo on the 25th began a new personal cycle for you where the focus is on your appearance and identity. The Full Moon Monday night brings someone else into the picture. Maybe your new persona threatened the status quo with your partner and he/she is hurt. Venus moves into Virgo at noon on Friday. Your diplomatic skills, not your critical skills, will come into play and you will be able to handle what comes up at the Full Moon.

LIBRA (Sept. 21-Oct. 20) – As we move from the New Moon into the Full Moon Monday night, you will feel a shift. Mercury just entered Libra yesterday and Venus, your ruler moves into Virgo on Friday noon. Thinking about relationships with more emphasis on your diplomatic skills, would be Mercury and more attention to details would be Venus. Spend time alone this week, take that old knitting project out of the closet and finish it. The Full Moon might bring an unresolved health issue to the surface to be dealt with.

SCORPIO (Oct. 20-Nov. 21) – You are the long-suffering sign these days for sure. Sunday brings your ruler Mars into contact with Pluto, just before the Full Moon on Monday evening. Whatever is still residing deep inside (after all you have been through already), whether it be a physical, mental, or emotional blockage, can be rooted out easily under this aspect. There is a time for everything, the Bible says. Freedom from the past that binds us and keeps us from moving forward has to be dug out and released.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 21) – Optimism begins the week, as the Moon is in your sign. Watch Friday where you might want to exceed safe boundaries; make adjustments. Seriousness marks the weekend until Sunday evening, when the Moon moves into Pisces before the Full Moon Monday evening. Chiron the wounded healer is involved with this Full Moon, so it will be evident what has yet to be healed. No pain no gain.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan 20.) – Saturn your ruler has actually moved into a new degree and will pick up speed this month, moving two degrees. In October it will be four degrees. As Saturn moves ahead, so does the goat as he climbs up the mountain. This week has the Moon in your sign from this evening until Friday evening, so focus is called for. The Full Moon Monday evening will alert you to what dysfunctional thinking patterns you still have or you see around you in others.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 20) – All the fixed signs are having difficulty these days with Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter in conflict to your Sun. Your frustrations about your career are in contrast to how good it seems to be with your partner. To offset any confusing financial issues that may come up at the Full Moon Monday evening, combine resources with someone else. You are born to belong to a group, not to go it alone.

PISCES (Feb. 20-March 21) – This week bridges the New Moon with the Full Moon. As the Moon gets bigger, your vision does as well, encompassing more, until things explode at the Full Moon Monday evening. Loving your partner also means loving yourself -- not in an egotistical way, but by becoming whole. It is said that one cannot truly love another unless he/she loves him/her self.
