Plein Air Painting
The North Fork Community Theater in Mattituck will be hosting a Plein Air painting and social event on the NFCT lawn on Sunday from 4 to 7 PM to kick off its juried arts show in December. For more info visit www.nfct.com.
Art In The Park
Southampton Artists Association presents Art in the Park at Agawam Park on Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Over 40 Long Island exhibitors will showcase their paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media works.
The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill will present William Glackens, the first comprehensive survey of the artist's work since 1966 Sunday through October 13. The exhibition spans Glackens's career from the 1890s through the 1930s, with more than 70 important paintings and works on paper from some of America's finest private and public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, the National Gallery of Art, and the Cleveland Museum, among others. Several works in the exhibition are on view to the public for the first time since 1966.
The Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton presents artist Richard Burton. The show runs through August 11.
Dodds & Eder
A group show featuring the artwork of Scott Bluedorn, Darlene Charneco, Casey Dalene, Alexis Duque, Paul Farinacci, and Rafael Fuchs is on display at Dodds & Eder Home Gallery & Sculpture Garden in Sag Harbor through July 28.
Art On The Edge
East Hampton's Vered Gallery presents Art on the Edge 2014. Art on the Edge, the only exhibition of its kind in The Hamptons, is an annual survey of New Contemporary Art featuring the most provocative new painters, sculptors, and photographers working in their respective mediums today. The exhibit continues through Monday, August 4.

Crazy Monkey Gallery

The Southold Historical Society presents "Rhythm & Blues" an art exhibition featuring the artwork of award winning artist Barbara Bilotta at its Reichert Family Center, Cosden-Price Gallery. This exhibit of original works will be on display from tomorrow through August 2.

"Chop Wood, Carry Water" at The Fireplace Project in Springs featuring Erika Keck, Nick Theobald and Michael Bevilacqua takes place through Monday.
ARC Fine Art
ARC Fine Art in Amagansett presents a selection of paintings, photographs, prints, sculpture and works on paper by Helen Frankenthaler, Massimo Vitali, Donald Sultan, Sohan Qadri, Eric Cahan, Hunt Slonem, Gary Komarin, Gustavo Ten Hoever, Michael Rich, Meghan Gerety, and Sarah Frassinelli on view through Tuesday.

Deconstructing Sayre Barn
Southampton Historical Museums and Research Center presents "Deconstructing the Sayre Barn: Photographs by Ulf Skogsbergh," an exhibit of highly detailed oversize photographs featuring what Skogsbergh found to be the most fascinating phase of the reconstruction of the Southampton Historical Museum's Sayre Barn, its deconstruction.
