Art Gallery at the Quogue Library presents artist Cindy Patrick with "East of Eden." A lecture will take place on Saturday at 1:30 PM with a reception from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. The show runs through June 29.
Nature: Variations on a Thme
Southampton Cultural Center presents "Nature: Variations on a Thme" at Levitas Center of the Arts at Southampton Cultural Center. The show, curated by Arlene Bujese, features the work of Deborah Black, Lucy Cookson, Mary Daunt, Janet Jennings, and Karen Kluglein. A reception will be held on Saturday from 4 to 6 PM. The Halsey Mckay Gallery in East Hampton presents artwork by Matt Kenny and Adam Marnie. The show runs Saturday through June 23.
Crazy Monkey Gallery
The Crazy Monkey Gallery in Amagansett will feature the art of three of its longtime members, Andrea McCafferty, Ellyn Tucker and Bob Tucker, as well as a group exhibit by the art cooperative's members. The exhibition will be on view through June 30. A reception will be held on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.

Hail To The Beach
Dinah Maxwell Smith's new exhibit, Hail to the Beach, showcases her wonderful contemporary impressionist paintings of Long Island beach scenes. This exhibit takes place at the Rogers Mansion, a property of the Southampton Historical Museum and Research Center. The public is invited to a free opening reception at the museum on Saturday from 4 to 6 PM, where light refreshments will be served. Picture of Lola
The Fireplace Project, a contemporary art gallery and project space in Springs presents Picture of Lola with Lola Montes Schnabel and Julian Schnabel as its first exhibition for 2014. The show runs through June 23.
The East Hampton Historical Society presents "Craig Claiborne & Pierre Franey: Cookbook Revolutionaries in East Hampton." The exhibition includes many special loans from private collections, including artwork, photographs, films, cookbooks, menus, and cherished items from both Claiborne's and Franey's kitchens.
Craig Claiborne, America's pre-eminent food journalist and restaurant critic, and culinary giant Pierre Franey revamped the landscape of American cooking for more than 30 years, and their influence is still apparent.
The show will be on display at Clinton Academy Museum through July 13.
Down To Earth
Artist Lily Almog's "Down To Earth" is on display at Vered Gallery in East Hampton. The exhibition runs through June 18. As an artist, Lily Almog has worked primarily through photography in environmental portraiture. The experimental direction of "Down to Earth" presents new views of engagement with landscape as it integrates various forms of land use; its leisure activities and suburban life. Her works are represented in permanent collections of major museums such as SF MOMA and the V & A in London.
I Remember It Differently
"Gordon Stevenson: I Remember It Differently," is on display at the Tripoli Gallery in Southampton. The show runs through June 16. Through selected fragments from the cartoons of our childhood, Stevenson engages both the child and adult in all of us. Playful and cerebral moments frozen in time illuminate portrayals of love, from the nurturing to the romantic, as well as some of the tongue-in-cheek humor we may have missed earlier on.
Arlene Slavin's "Intersections" is on display at Guild Hall in East Hampton. The new series features sculptures and paintings with pencil, diagonal, grid-based with layers of lush, translucent stained colors. The show runs through October 13. Visit www.guildhall.org.
LongHouse in East Hampton presents the exhibit "exteriors, the explosion of outdoor furnishings." It is the largest exhibit in the foundation's history, with entries from countries across the world. The exhibit displays all aspects of outdoor living. Runs through October 11.
