Week of May 28 – June 3(Read your rising sign too if you know it)

Aries (March 21-April 20) – The New Moon today in Gemini is activating the area of life concerned with your mental activity. This also includes further schooling, your communication style either written or spoken, relations with neighbors and those close by in your immediate environment, including siblings, and travel to short distances or for short periods of time. Movement is the key here. There is the possibility now of a new situation emerging on any one of these fronts. Do you need to communicate your needs more clearly with your neighbor or a sibling? This week is the time. New outcomes are possible when you change your approach.

Taurus (April 20-May 20) – Your ruler Venus moves into Taurus tonight ushering in a more relaxed and comfortable week and month. Venus is at home in Taurus "the couch potato." It should be easier to align with what you hold to be valuable and what you want to attract. You can use that insight to increase your bank account as this New Moon activates your second house of earned income, values and movable possessions. Neptune is connected with this lunation so be careful, you might be prone to believing a friend who has his/her head in the clouds.

Gemini (May 20- June 21) – Your birthday month! Change your appearance, start a new exercise regime, go on a diet, connect with a different group of people, decide to stop waiting for your spouse to get his act together; and to boot maybe the realization is dawning that your career is not all you thought it would be. Let's face it; you are exhausted. Your ruler Mercury changes signs early tomorrow morning, into Cancer. He will help you communicate your feelings, before turning retrograde on the 7th.

Cancer (June 21-July 19) – The New Moon in Gemini occurs today affecting everybody regarding their communication style. Your natural reluctance to say what is on your mind will be tested this week. It will feel awkward unless you figure out what you feel you want to say. Being ruled by the Moon, life flows as the Moon does -- waxing and waning. Welcome this week of pause and retreat; meditate or do yoga.

Leo (July 19 – Aug. 20) – It is very stimulating in your social life now, as the New Moon ushers in a new beginning in your house of friends, groups, organizations, dreams, hopes and wishes. This could also mean a promotion or recognition by your boss, or increased income if you are self employed. The ancients called this area of life the "house of good spirit." You are having a new beginning there this week, so go for it, no limitations; your wildest dreams can come true. You are getting ready for the planet of expansion and success, Jupiter, to enter your sign July 17th; the clues as to where this expansion will be are around you now, ready to manifest.

Virgo (Aug. 20-Sept. 21) – Mercury, your planetary ruler, is beginning to slow down now, going retrograde June 7th. It is not only the apparent moving backwards that causes problems, but the change in speed. Mercury is the fastest moving planet and likes life at warp speed. As he slows down so should we. You should relish this time of a more relaxed pace, since the planet of activity, Mars, has been in the area of life where you pursue income since December 8th. You must be tired. This New Moon might help you realize that some of those pursuits are no longer worth pursuing.

Libra (Sept. 21 – Oct. 23) – Snags in your relationship sector should begin to iron out now, as Mars has begun its forward motion. Maybe you have realized that arguing and being combative just does not work. Your ruler Venus changes signs tonight so rest and relaxation are in store, as Taurus can be imaged as a bull relaxing in a wild flower meadow, chewing. You might try doing something artistic together. Communication is not just talking together.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 22) – The new beginning today is in your 8th house of monies held in company with other people, your spouse, or business partner; other financial matters, like wills, inheritances, insurance, and taxes. It is also the area of life where psychological processing through inner work can transform us, i.e. work with a therapist to uncover some hidden mental patterns that are causing you suffering. You would do well to use this week to begin some therapeutic work, if you have not done so already, as this winter has been especially hard on you.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21) – This New Moon has you very involved with peer-to-peer relationships. Either there is a potential for a new partner, or a new development in an existing relationship. You are beginning to get recognized and noticed; feeling that the last six months, where you might have been hibernating, are now over. You will be quite sensitive this week, very thin-skinned; also a bit foggy about where a relationship is headed. It will get clearer this week as you define your boundaries.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 - Jan. 20) – Health and personal hygiene are highlighted this week for you as the New Moon is in your area of life regarding those matters. Detoxifying with a spring fast is in order. You are being transformed; the physical reality of your life is slowly in the process of restructure. You like it that way though (slowly). You just need to make sure your physical body is up to the task, by keeping your pipes clean.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 19) – Please have fun this week!! Begin a creative project that completely turns you on. Maybe you have always wanted to play the guitar or piano. No need to procrastinate any more. New Moons are the God's way of pushing us into new territories. Relations with children may take a new twist. Maybe one of them wants to join you in the music lesson or you decide to join them.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 21) – Sensitive Pisces, the homefront is the area of your life that today's New Moon highlights. You might be letting go of a home or someone in the home, or letting go of an illusion you have had about your own early home life. Home life can refer to your present home or your family or country of origin. It is your foundation, where you need be anchored in order to fulfill your destiny. This might feel a little unsteady this week. Surrender to the truth.
