New Works by Annie Sessler, John Todaro and Sarah Jaffe Turnbull will be on display at Ashawagh Hall in Springs on Saturday and Sunday. Sessler is a fish-printmaker from Montauk, Turnbull is a sculptor from Bridgehampton and Todaro is a photographer from East Hampton. The show will run 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. There will be a reception on Saturday from 3 PM until 7 PM.
"Dreams," acrylic, oil and pencil on paper by Gail Miro is on display at the Art Gallery at the Quogue Library. An artist's reception takes place on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Miro's work of acrylic, oil and pencil on paper reflects her life's experiences, especially living and painting in the New England mountains and the coast of Long Island. The show runs through January 30.
New Year = New Art
The Crazy Monkey Gallery in Amagansett will start the New Year with a group art exhibit titled "New Year = New Art." Participating in the show will be the Art Cooperative members Andrea McCafferty, Daniel Schoenheimer, Barbara Bilotta, June Kaplan, Ellyn Tucker, Bob Tucker, Mark E. Zimmerman, Bobbie Braun, Lance Corey, Beth O'Donnell and Melissa Hin. The exhibit will be on view through January 26.
