Artists Choose Artists
The Parrish Art Museum celebrates its one-year anniversary in its new home in Water Mill Friday through Monday with the opening of Artists Choose Artists and the unveiling of a new installation of the permanent collection. A reception takes place Friday from 6 to 8 PM. There will be drop-in activities for families, opportunities to meet the artists featured in the exhibitions, live music, and much more throughout the long weekend. Art By Architects
AIA Peconic, a chapter of the American Institute of Architects, will host an event at the Southampton Center featuring art by architects, Member Firm Project Exhibit, and the Daniel J. Rowen Memorial Awards Program. Opening reception takes place Saturday at 5:30 PM. The show runs through December 1. Visit www.aiapeconic.org.
Group Art Show
The Retreat, the only non-profit domestic violence agency serving the East End of Long Island for over 26 years, has announced the Top 25 artists who will be featured in a group show opening on Saturday at the Richard J. Demato Fine Arts Gallery in the heart of Sag Harbor.
Submissions of photography, painting, mixed media, graphics, drawing, 2D, 3D, and sculpture came from around the globe including Israel, Russia, Sweden, and all across the United States. Jurors for this year's competition included Sara Nightingale, owner of the Sara Nightingale Gallery in Water Mill and Scott Sandell, Visual Arts Director of Stony Brook University (Southampton campus).
The opening reception is on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at the Richard J. Demato Gallery of Sag Harbor. The art show will run through November 20.

Art Gallery at the Quogue Library presents "TRAY JOLIE," its November 2013 exhibit of tray art by East End artists. The show runs through December 1.
The Crazy Monkey Gallery in Amagansett will feature the work of two of its member artists, Jim Hayden and Jana Hayden, and art by a guest artist, Lenore Bailey. The exhibition will be on view through December 1.

"Material Matters" art exhibit is at Levitas Center for the Arts at Southampton Cultural Center. The show runs through November 17.
"Kingdom Animalia," curated by Kathy Zeiger is on display at Dodds and Eder in Sag Harbor. Artists include Caitlyn Shea, Colin Goldberg, Dan Welden, David Bonagurio, Llewelynn Fletcher, Marc Dimov, Rachel Meuler, Roz Dimon, Scott Bluedorn, Vito DeVito and Will Ryan with animal inspired art. The show runs through Sunday.
