The Crazy Monkey Gallery in Amagansett will feature the work of two of its member artists, Jim Hayden and Jana Hayden, and art by a guest artist, Lenore Bailey. The exhibition will be on view from Friday to December 1. Reception will be held on Saturday 5 to 7 PM.
LIFE IN THE ABSTRACT
Second annual group exhibition "LIFE IN THE ABSTRACT" takes place this weekend at Ashawagh Hall in Springs. An opening reception will be held on Saturday from 5 to 8 PM. Curated by artist Barbara Groot.
Art Gallery at the Quogue Library presents "TRAY JOLIE," its November 2013 exhibit of tray art by East End artists. Light refreshments and an auction will take place on Friday from 5 to 6:30 PM. The show runs through December 1.
Neoteric Fine Art invites you to Benjamin Barnes "Shady Cottage," a haunted house based on the actual true history of the gallery's building, located at 208 Main Street in Amagansett. The "Shady Cottage" will be an interactive experience featuring many historical and infamous Amagansett personalities and an interwoven mystery, coupled with shock and terror. Costumes encouraged. Admission is $10. Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 8 to 11 PM.
Guild Hall presents Thomas Moran's Romanticism & Symbolism; Christa Maiwald; and Landscapes from the permanent collection. The three exhibits will run through January 5. For more info visit www.guildhall.org.

The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room in East Hampton presents Robert Dash exhibit "From Blue Hill" and Chuck Holtzman's drawings and wall architecture. Both exhibits run through Monday.
"Kingdom Animalia," curated by Kathy Zeiger is on display at Dodds and Eder in Sag Harbor. Artists include Caitlyn Shea, Colin Goldberg, Dan Welden, David Bonagurio, Llewelynn Fletcher, Marc Dimov, Rachel Meuler, Roz Dimon, Scott Bluedorn, Vito DeVito and Will Ryan with animal inspired art. The show runs through November 10.
Southampton Historical Museum and Research Center presents the art exhibit, "Fabulous Fish," sculptures by John Rist, Jr. at Rogers Mansion. The show runs through Saturday.
Charlotte Park: The 1950s
"Charlotte Park: The 1950s," a selection of paintings by a close friend and colleague of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, will be on view at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center through tomorrow. The works are lent courtesy of the artist's estate, by private collectors, and by the Parrish Art Museum.
