Jazz Age East Hampton (1919-1933): Clothes, Clubs & Contraband opens at the Clinton Academy Museum on Saturday. The East Hampton Historical Society has sourced over 80 images of life during America's "last fling" – from the local gentry to the famous folks that had already begun embracing the East End.
In addition to photographs, they will create vignettes of period fashion, decorative arts and even display a 70 year old contraband bottle of liquor. A special section will be devoted to the Ladies Village Improvement Society (LVIS) Fair and the Maidstone Club. The exhibit will run through October 13. A special curator's tour by Director Richard Barons takes place August 17 at 10 AM.

Art On The Edge
Art On The Edge 2013, an annual survey of New Contemporary Art featuring the most provocative new paintings, sculptors and photographers working in their respective mediums, opens at Vered Gallery in East Hampton. The exhibit continues through August 5.

Holland B. Cunningham
Recent work by Holland B. Cunningham, an American artist who works in oil, water-based media, photography as well as animation, will exhibit at Art Gallery at the Quogue Library. The show is on display today through Monday.

East Hampton's beloved Artists & Writers Softball Game will take to the field for its 65th annual game on August 17. In celebration, the Museum at Guild Hall opens "Artists & Writers: They Played in the Game." The exhibition features many works from Guild Hall's permanent collection of artists who have played in the game, along with works that are on loan. The show runs through Sunday. Herman N. Hyneman
The Southold Historical Society will host an exhibition of paintings by noted 19th century New York City painter Herman N. Hyneman (1849-1907). The exhibit, entitled "Herman N. Hyneman: A Jewish Artist Rediscovered," will be on display in the Cosden-Price Gallery in the Society's Reichert Family Center in Southold through September 21.
Rosalie Dimon Gallery in Jamesport summer exhibit opens with artist Alex Ferrone. The show runs through August 2.
