Following the success of Beaumarchais East Hampton last summer, restaurateur Jonathan Rapillo has returned to the same Three Mile Harbor space this summer with Sienna Restaurant & Ultralounge. The eatery melds two world-class experiences under one chic roof. The restaurant boasts an eclectic menu designed by Tony Fortuna of the popular Upper East Side restaurant T-Bar Steak & Lounge. The Pink Elephant presents nightlife at its best with a summer residency in Sienna's Ultralounge.

Sienna promises a luxurious dining experience that should not be skipped this summer.

Chef Ben Zwicker, formerly of Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Aureole and Petrossian, produces fresh and flavorful American Nouveau specialties at Sienna. The restaurant focuses on high-quality, local produce and ingredients.

Previously of NYC hotspots such as MPD and Bagatelle, Evan Finkelstein is at the reigns of the beverage program at Sienna. The program delivers high quality specialty cocktails and classics using house made syrups, fresh squeezed juices and seasonal ingredients.

On Friday night, I dined at Sienna with my friend Peggy Stankevich. I started with a fantastic beet and pear salad with pecorino, while Peggy chose the watermellon and feta salad. We were very impressed with both of the salads. They were a wonderful start to our fantastic meal.

For our entrees Peggy decided on the yellow-fin tuna tartar with soy ginger and sesame seeds. An excellent choice with fresh, grade-A ingredients. For my entree I tried the chicken milanese with chopped salad and lemon, which was cooked to perfection and the accompanying salad was also delightful.

Dessert was unbelievably spectacular. We split a banana parfait mille feuilles with coconut and carmel sauce.

Other menu items include T-Bar's Signature chopped salads, crispy Long Island duck, sauteed Maryland lump crabcake with tomato remoulade, and a 14 oz New York strip with mashed potatoes and Béarnaise sauce.

Sienna also offers a weekend brunch, with festive brunch parties on holiday weekends and a more serene experience throughout the rest of the summer to accommodate leisurely dining and celebratory gatherings alike.

Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday. Brunch is served on Saturdays. Sienna will present the Sienna Brunch Party on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. The Pink Elephant is open Friday and Saturday nights until Labor Day and Sunday September 1.
