The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation will kick off the season with a benefit event at Solé East Resort in Montauk on Saturday at 7 PM. Held outdoors at the resort's Backyard restaurant, "A Night of Classic Italian Food & Film" will feature fare by guest celebrity chef Ralph Pagano, the executive chef of Alba restaurant at Solé on the Ocean in Florida, whose TV appearances include "Iron Chef" and "Hell's Kitchen." The evening's featured film is It Started in Naples.

ARF Garden Tour
The 27th annual ARF Garden Tour will take place in East Hampton on Saturday. A self-guided tour of six delightful gardens in the Village of East Hampton will happen between 10 AM and 4 PM. The annual Turbo Tri race to benefit i-tri will take place at 6 PM on Saturday for ages 17 and up. The course follows a scenic route starting and ending at Maidstone Park in Springs. The race is for everyone from experienced triathletes to those who just want to try something new – it's about crossing the finish line, not speed or physical abilities. The course encompasses a 300 yard swim, a 7 mile bike and a 1.5 mile run. It is followed by a benefit dinner at the park. i-tri is a community-based program on Long Island's East End that teaches at-risk adolescent girls self-respect, personal empowerment, positive body image and healthy lifestyles through the sport of triathlon. Paddlers for Humanity
Paddlers for Humanity will host exciting and stimulating physical races throughout the summer to raise funds for local projects and programs dedicated to children and youth. From the annual Block Island Challenge to the new Swim-Paddle-Run Fun Race, all fitness levels are welcomed and will find an event they enjoy while helping a good cause.
Paddlers will enter a 6-mile surf zone from the beach and then follow a downwind course to the finish line on Sunday at 9 AM for the Main Beach Surf + Sport SUP Race for Humanity benefiting Paddlers for Humanity. Wellness Foundation of East Hampton will host its 2nd Annual Summer Benefit on June 22 from 6 to 8 PM at a private East Hampton Village residence overlooking Hook Pond (65 Dunemere Lane). The evening will honor Wellness Foundation's 2013 Illumination Award recipient Joe Cross, star of the award-winning documentary film, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, and founder of Reboot with Joe. Wellness Foundation's Illumination Award celebrates those individuals illuminating the path of wellness for others.
