On Friday at 8 PM, New York City's sexiest 1930's cabaret party "Speakeasy Moderne" will play at East Hampton Studio in Wainscott. The audience will have a chance to be swept into a world where singers enchant, flappers flirt, and dancers dazzle. Travel back in time without a fancy time machine as Sonja In The City Catering and Events, by Bravo TV's "New York Housewife" Sonja Morgan, creates a world of wonder.

The event will feature leading ladies: Sonja Morgan ("NYC Housewives") Gabrielle Ruiz (Evita starring Ricky Martin, In the Heights, the 1st National Tour of A Chorus Line) Dina Fanai (Trans Siberian Orchestra) and Linda Calise (Jazz Recording Artist).

With songs from the Tin Pan Alley era to the Golden Age of Broadway to today's pop charts and performances from special guest singers, dancers and burlesque stars, the show puts a modern twist on the illicit speakeasy, where high brow and low brow entertainers and audiences mingle, indulging in drink, song, and dance. Evening and cocktail wear is encouraged and audience members are asked to dress in their best 1920's wardrobes.

The cast also features Official Hank, Ashley Arcement, Nikki Chalas, Kristin Ewing, Shari Katz, Macy Reeves, Tommy Scrivens and Choreographer Kimberly Schafer. The band features Matt Baker on piano, Adam Kabak on bass and Miss Jodi on drums. Makeup design by Dex Phillip of Dex New York Cosmetics.

Musical numbers include "Willkommen" from Cabaret, "Edge of Glory" (Lady Gaga), "It Don't Mean A Thing" (Duke Ellington) and "Proud Mary" (Tina Turner).

Master of Ceremonies Hank Stampfl has traveled regionally and nationally in the North American Broadway tour of Evita, Kander and Ebb's Cabaret, and Hello, Dolly starring Sally Struthers. He has recently released a pop/dance CD produced by Heather Holley (Christina Aguilera) featuring songs "Life On Stage," "Know Me" featuring Richie Rich, and Feel Good.

Tickets start at $15 and go from there. VIP Tickets are $125 each, which include a champagne reception with the cast before the show and tabled seating in front orchestra, plus two drink tickets. For more ticket options visit www.brownpapertickets.com/event/384386.
