The Picture Show
The Picture Show at Bay Street Theatre, sponsored by Peconic Landing, continues with classic films this winter and spring. All films start at 8 PM. Tickets are $7 at the door and include a small box of popcorn. Guild Hall in East Hampton presents a screening of Barrymore, starring Academy-Award Winner Christopher Plummer in a new film based on the play by William Luce, on Saturday at 8 PM. The Mistress Of Monticello
Shannon Lanier, a descendant of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings, plans to attend the Saturday performance of The Mistress of Monticello written and directed by Tina Andrews. This is the play upon which Andrews' award-winning CBS miniseries "Sally Hemings An American Scandal" was based. The Mistress of Monticello will be presented by the Southampton Cultural Center Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 students under 21. Available at the door beginning 40 minutes before the start of the performance.
