Violinist, Maxfield Panish, a graduate of East Hampton High School, was awarded a $2500 scholarship to attend the Manhattan School of Music by Music for Humanity. Eleven Hampton retailers - Outdoors, Crossroad Music, Innersleeve Records, Mandala Yoga, Rube, Golden Eagle, White's Pharmacy, The Monogram Shop, Reed's Photo, Ganeaux, and Simply Sublime - have joined to help raise the additional funds for Panish and in the process give their own customers a sale. Each store will sell vouchers for $20 and 100 percent of voucher sales will go to Panish. Each person with a voucher will receive 20 percent off at most participating retailers. Sale is Friday through November 15. Fore more info visit www.maxfieldmfhscholarship.com.
