Black Film Festival
The African American Museum of the East End will present the 7th Annual Black Film Festival at the new Herzog De Meuron designed Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill November 17. A major highlight of the festival will be the New York Premiere of acclaimed filmmaker Janks Morton's Hoodwinked. A special kickoff evening on Friday will take place at the Southampton Cultural Center from 7 to 9 PM and will feature live jazz and spoken word. Proceeds will benefit the African American Museum of the East End.
Adès's The Tempest

One Act Plays
Ross School's "Fall One Act Plays" will present an evening of nine short one acts under the title, You Never Know What You Might Get! Featuring the works of various playwrights, the production will be held on tomorrow through Saturday at 7 PM each night.
Bay Street Theatre's Literature Live! presentation of The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, will be presented live on stage in a professional production through November 24.
