The North Fork Oyster Company, located in the heart Greenport, is a spectacular dining location with creative cuisine. The upscale seafood restaurant offers much more than just oysters. Executive chef Alex Algieri provides a variety of beautiful dishes in a gorgeous setting. We stopped by for lunch while on our "daycation" to Greenport via the Peconic Water Jitney (see Traveler Watchman page).
To start, I tried one of specialty cocktails. Also on tap, a glass of the harbor ale from the Greenport Brewery.
For our lunch selections, the pinenut crusted organic chicken breast served with chicory and local berries. Also ordered, the local oyster 'PoBoy' served on a brioche bun, with asian slaw and smoked paprika aioli.
North Fork Oyster Company serves up the freshest local produces and seafood from the surrounding waters. Stop by for lunch or dinner any day of the week. There is also a bar menu offered from 3 to 5 PM.
