The Beach Boys will play live on an East Hampton Village farm Tuesday evening, with all of the proceeds going to local charities such as the Kendall Madison Foundation, E.H. Meals On Wheels and Action Against Hunger.
Jacquelyne Love will host "Fashion For Passion" at the home of Bill and Karie Gardiner on 36 James Lane. She is the wife of Mike Love, a founding member of the band who fronts the current edition along with Bruce Johnston, another original Beach Boy. Afterward, the band, which has been getting rave reviews during its recent tours, will perform a set that includes most of the Beach Boys' standards and some "chestnuts" as well. Two local bands, The Secret Resistance and For Sure, are also on the bill.
There are a limited number of tickets and sponsorships available. Those interested in contributing should call 329-0205.
A shuttle service will be provided from the East Hampton Indoor Tennis facility.
